Scuba Dive Hantu, Jan 2010

Was thinking about diving at Hantu over the past few months (previous post), and i've gone for it! Not once or twice, but thrice, and one or two more to come! Here's what i experienced diving in our own backyard...

Diving off MV Samudera Quest.
Enjoyed 6 dives over three half-days.
Number of Fish: Few
Interesting sightings 9 Jan: 1 Seahorse, 1 Cuttlefish, Shultz Pipefish, Winged Pipefish
Interesting sightings 16 Jan: 1 Cuttlefish, Octopus Tentacles
Interesting sightings 17 Jan: 2 Seahorses, Octopus Eye
Visibility: Not good

I've scheduled another half-day trip to Hantu end-January, and possibly one more in February, then when the Malaysia dive season re-opens, i'll be chartering an LOB for a trip (or two) to Aur/Tioman... stay tuned!

And then you got the dive on 7 Feb - sightings of an octupus, frog fish, sea horse and turtle! Looking forward to your take of the Maldives
