teamNUS Sports Awards

...to recognise students' sporting achievements and contributions during the past academic year. This year the Awards Presentation Ceremony was held on 21st October 2005, and the NUS Lifeguard Corps (NUSULC) turned up to support their fellow award recieving lifesavers, as well as to enjoy the buffet spread.

Rookie Award, Lifesaving: Rebuan Lim
"Applicable to a first-year student who has shown tremendous potential in a particular sport. The player should also have achieved the following:
a) Represented the university and brought honour and glory;
b) Displayed good sportsmanship, conduct and team spirit;
c) His role and presence have impact on team’s performance."


Most Valuable Player, Lifesaving: Gary Su
"Every sports team shall nominate one Most Valuable Player.The player should have achieved the following:
a) Represented the university and brought honour and glory;
b) Displayed good sportsmanship, conduct and team spirit;
c) His role and presence have impact on team’s performance."

"Applicable to final-year students who have been actively involved in sports for at least 3 years and displayed good sportsmanship and conduct."
