I Survived SG Biathlon 2007
1 Hour 33 Minutes; That's how long i took to complete a 1.5km swim and a 10km run at East Coast Park today in the Singapore Biathlon 2007.
It was a significant accomplishment for me because this is about as far as i will swim, and run, every year.
Thinking back: The past few years (2004 and 2005) i went to the Singapore Biathlon with a special someone who'd go there early in the morning to be with me, to cheer me on, to help me with my things, to just be there, then to spend the rest of the day with. This morning, i went there with my gear in my own hands, and i went through the entire event with only my thoughts for company...
I reminisce.
