Event-filled Day

Swim + Save (article) was held today, a mass swim event organised by the NUS Lifeguard Corps (link) . I went to help out as Manikin-Positioner, took up the Voice-Over role for half the event, bought myself two tickets and swam a paltry 10 laps to get my goodie bag. It was nice to see my team mates again after a long absence from trainings, and my coach Sim. Also submitted my particulars for the Fuji Xerox Singapore Open Water swim (link)... challenge myself and keep myself motivated to remain fit (read: start getting back my fitness).

Heartburn
Heartburn, or pyrosis, is a painful or burning sensation in the esophagus, just below the breastbone caused by regurgitation of gastric acid. Had that medical discomfort the whole afternoon/night... even a nap couldn't put it away. Hopefully the night's sleep does some help, or i'll go get some medication from the pharmacy tomorrow.
